AGI Systems Analysis

Across nine turns, a person defined reasoning and thinking for Claude, Anthropic’s AI model (Opus 5.5). This page draws that definition as a nine-step loop, shows what Claude did at each step in the transcript, and sets beside it what AGI research has shown as of October 2026. The path to AGI fails at two steps. Step 4, Ask, is passed only in part, which is why its circle is half filled: within a given task GPT-6 Astra scored 62.7% on ARC-AGI-3 and Claude Opus 5 scored 30.2%, but unprompted intervention drops off clearly, and with no input at all no measurement exists. Step 9, Go on for a lifetime, fails outright: long-term memory storage scored 0% for both GPT-4 and GPT-5, no 2026 model has been scored on it, and nothing decided in a conversation changes Claude’s weights. The trial kit tests whether any system, a model with its harness and the memory it can write to, bridges that gap.

What changed after review

The previous version was reviewed adversarially and judged BENT, with thirteen catches. Status: closed means the evidence the review asked for was produced; withdrawn means the claim was removed or cut down to what the evidence supports; open means the change was made but the closing evidence could not be produced here.

Quotes from the person are verbatim from the transcript, with extra spaces collapsed and omissions marked by ellipses. Field-to-step wiring and research-to-step placement are Claude’s, drawn dotted to set them apart from links traceable to the person’s words.
